School Psychology Services
- Psychological evaluations, including an emotional disability
- Provide the most up-to-date cognitive, achievement and behavior assessments
- Interpretation of evaluation data and MDE compliant reports
- Participation in eligibility determination meetings
- Conduct MDE compliant functional behavioral assessments (FBAs)
- Develop MDE compliant behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
- Participation in IEP meetings, as needed
- Provide training to teachers and administrators to implement BIPs
- Provide follow up to teachers in implementing the BIPs and collecting data to ensure the effectiveness of the BIP
- Provide direct therapy and counseling for students by a school psychologist, based on the student’s IEP
Psychometry Services
- Comprehensive evaluations and reevaluations
- Provide the most up-to-date cognitive, achievement and behavior assessments
- Conduct gifted assessments
- Provide MDE compliant evaluation reports
- Participation in eligibility determination meetings
- Participation in MET/IEP meetings, as needed
- Participate in Initial MET meetings or Reevaluation meetings to assist in determining the need to evaluate and areas that must be addressed
Language/Speech Services
- Assistive technology assessments

Professional Development
- SEL supports in practical methods and strategies includes Fatherlessness Effects
- Training on writing IDEA/MDE complaint IEPs – designed to move students towards success or growth on state tests
- Review and/or Internal Audit – IEPs for compliance with MDE Policies and training for teachers as needed
- Administrator Support Services
- Assist in clearing MDE complaints and monitoring issues
- Aid in developing discipline procedures and effective tracking strategies
- Training on discipline, behavior, FBAs, BIPs and Manifestation Determinations
- Training to teachers in classroom management strategies, including in classroom supports for teachers
- File review, Internal Audit for compliance from Child Find to eligibility
- Parent Training to support Teachers and Students
- Training on IDEA, 504 and MS policies.
- Develop Section 504 Policies and Procedures
- Aid in developing Child Find procedures and modification of forms
- Provide training on implementation of the district’s Child Find procedures
- Provide training on least restrictive environment (LRE) procedures and decision making
- Provide organizational strategies for implementing Child Find and eligibility procedures
Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS)
- Development of district procedures for Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS)
- Provide training for the Teacher Support Team (TST) and school staff in implementing the district’s procedures
Federal Programs
- Provide Federal Program Internal Audit
- Training for personnel and resolution of issues
- MCAPS – Offer services to new directors on completing revisions to the grant and training and working with principals and/or school staff to revise or write their Schoolwide plans.
- Assist in developing or revising the federal programs procedural manual to ensure that procedures are updated with federal requirements and district policies/procedures.
- Assist with calculating comparability and completing the forms.
- Assist directors with entering homeless, foster, EL, and immigrant data in MSIS federal program modules monthly.
